The Christian Church was born in the Middle East, yet today Christians are a small and at times persecuted minority. Christians can face reprisals ranging from ostracism from family, job, and community, to imprisonment or even death. The Berbers speak their own language and make up as much as 50% of the population of some North African countries.
     Partners International has, by God's grace, developed work with innovative, indegenous ministries in the region. Our creative approach to grow and strengthen churches includes holistic witness, training and sending church planters, and outreach to women and children.
